What an incredible day celebrating Emma and Sean's wedding on October 28, 2025 at the gorgeous Bramleigh Estate! With more than 180 family and friends gathered, you could feel the joy and love in the room. Their Christian wedding ceremony was such a beautiful reflection of their faith. The hymns Love Divine, All Loves excelling, and the Lord is my shepherd filled the space with reverence. Pastor Clive Barber shared a message based on Psalm 23, reminding us all how the Lord shepherds us, guiding, protecting, leading us through every season, just as couples are called to do for one another in marriage. During the ceremony, I was blessed to sing Goodness of God, a reminder of faith gratitude by the bride and groom. Later as guests enjoyed the canapes in Bramleigh serene outdoor area, I performed 'A Million Dreams,' adding a joyful, cinematic touch to the celebration. The day was a perfect blend of faith, family, and music -- and it was such a privilege to contribute through song. Congratulations again Emma and Sean! May you marriage be continually guided by God's love and filled with His goodness in every season. Yesterday, I had the privilege of being part of a Sri Lankan wedding at St Dominic's in Camberwell.
Inside the beautiful blue stone church on Riversdale Road, guests gathered for Sheneli and Indumith's Christian wedding. The morning light filtered gently through the stained glass windows warming the pews. As the wedding singer, my role was simple but important --to help tell Sheneli and Indumith's love story through music and usher their guests in worship and celebration. I opened with ''Amazing Grace," accompanied by a fellow Filipino musician/pianist Raul Policarpio. It was followed by ''One Bread, One Body" during offertory. As the gifts were brought forward, guests voices quietly joined in too not just in singing but in spirit. Later during the signing of the register, the couple chose "How great Thou Art"-- a prayerful song marking Sheneli and Indumith's wedding not just legally but spiritually. What made this day meaningful was how familiar every song felt for me. I have been singing some of these Christian songs in the church I grew up in. I loved that Sheneli and Indumith's guests didn't just listen-- they connected, as they smiled and some joined in the singing from the back rows. Daryl and Ha have built a life halfway across the world, but when it came to saying 'I do,' nothing felt more right for this couple than returning to Melbourne.
Daryl and Ha worked with me as their singer about a year before their homecoming wedding and chose songs that reflect their love and unwavering faith. They knew from the start that their wedding music needed to reflect that foundation. Their venue choice was the iconic Glasshaus Outside in Richmond-- a green sanctuary in the city. As their guest settled into the stunning greenery of Glasshaus, I began singing the song 'I choose you' by Ryan Darling for the bridal party procession. During the bridal march, the beautiful bride Ha walked down the aisle as I sang, 'I get to love you' by Ruelle. As the couple signed the register, I performed "Bless the Broken Road" that speaks of faith, wrong turns, that ultimately lead to true love. Thank you, Daryl and Ha, for inviting me to be a part of your special day as your wedding singer. It was a true honour for me and Raul to witness and contribute to such a meaningful celebration. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness and endless blessings! --from Sharon Crossman Melbourne Wedding Singer I was invited to sing and perform with Raul (pianist) on a very special occasion -- a 50th birthday. The birthday celebrant’s husband wanted to do something special for his wife, Abigail and asked us to perform songs while they had high tea and yum cha lunch for family and close friends. Usually, yum cha environments are chaotic, but Olinda Tea House made this birthday celebration relaxed, as they offered a sit-down and à la carte format for Abigail’s party. We thank Bernard and Abigail for inviting us to perform on this birthday milestone. We left the party feeling great with our tummies full too! Abigail left us a positive Google review for us after the event. Thank you Abigail and congratulations on your 50th! from the Melbourne wedding singer. Raul (favorite pianist!) and I were invited to perform at a beautiful house wedding at Milyrm Park in Chum Creek and with rain forecasted that week, our jobs just became more interesting. Edzel and Maria planned an outdoor wedding but minutes before their ceremony, the rain poured and we had to move our piano set up further back to the veranda to avoid getting wet. Their design team from Event Boss Australia leaped into action to move everything from outside to make a veranda ceremony space that is still gorgeously decorated and one that works to fit everyone. The most fun part of this wedding day was chatting with the bride and groom, and in between singing, I was also able to say hello to their friends, and relatives as they moved in and out of the house during the picnic reception. During the picnic, I sang songs chosen by Edzel and Maria such as I won't give up – by Jason Mraz, I was made for loving you, (Ed Sheeran), I get to love you (Ruelle), All of me (John Legend), Say you won't let go (James Arthur) and Love me like you do (Ellie Goulding). Thank you Edzel and Maria for choosing me as your wedding singer for your wedding day! Are you planning your wedding too? Just call me with your requirements and I’ll help you choose songs and an accompanist for your special day. |
