Rod and Jovic Ching had their wedding by the Lorne beach front on an unpredictable Thursday afternoon. I thought that rain would definitely pour at the ceremony. The couple was hopeful that the day would clear by the ceremony’s 4:30 p.m. start time - and it did.
We ended up with a gorgeous ceremony. The bride walked down the aisle to me singing 'A Thousand Years.' I sang ' All of Me' as they signed the register and the couple chose 'I love you Always Forever' as their recessional song. During the reception at the View Lorne Hotel, I met such lovely people - my kababayans (fellow countrymen) from the Philippines. Some of the guests are mostly nurses just like Rod and Jovic. They also have parents and family visiting from the Philippines. Thee party was spot on with speeches, to cake cutting ceremony, and Jovic's special dance number choreographed with her girlfriends for her new husband Rod. To say the least it was a long day of celebrations - some games, lots of dancing but most of it lighthearted fun. Congratulations to the lovely couple Rod and Jovic. It was an absolute pleasure singing at your special day!

On the 7th October 2017, Emilia La Porta and Roger Pavan enjoyed their wedding ceremony at a beautiful church in Flemington at St Brendan's Catholic Parish. The bride walked down the aisle to me singing 'Walking down the Aisle' originally by Irish singer- composer Claire Ceol. My brother Eric Bullecer accompanied me by playing guitar. Emilia chose 'Fields of Gold' (Eva Cassidy) for me to sing as they signed the register and 'Treasure' (Bruno Mars, acoustic version) for their recessional song. Thank you Emilia and Roger for letting me have a small part on your wedding day. Congratulations and all the best to the future! I had a wonderful day providing wedding music for the new Mr and Mrs Chloe and Tony Fu today. The ceremony was at Quat Quatta's intimate courtyard and Chloe walked down the aisle as I sang 'A Thousand years' by Christina Perri. The cocktails reception started with me singing 'Fly me to the Moon' and other jazz songs such as S'wonderful, 'A girl from Ipanema,' 'So nice,' and 'Summertime.'
They had their first dance after the speeches. They chose 'At last' by Etta James for their special dance and I absolutely loved singing this song! I was also their dance DJ today as well as I made a dance playlist for them. I loved seeing their guests fill the dance floor especially when I played the song 'Cant stop the feeling' by Justin Timberlake, and Bang Bang by Jessie J. It was a pleasure to be part of their day. Congratulations Chloe and Tony! The 22nd of April saw the lovely Philippah Mupamhanga and Jonathan Derham tie the knot at Discovery Church in Mount Evelyn. I've known the groom's sister Michelle Jorna and I was delighted when Jonathan asked me to sing at his wedding ceremony. The bride and groom chose mainly worship music for their special day. As guests arrive, I sang 'How Beautiful' by Twila Paris (watch live footage below) . Processional music was 'Awesome in this Place' and the beautiful bride walked down the aisle as I sang '10,000 reasons' by Matt Redman. It was an absolute pleasure to sing for them on their special day. All the best Jonathan and Philippah! Xx On January 21, 2017, I was privileged to sing at the wedding of Jessica Perri and Ian Eyar. Their wedding ceremony was held at the Gothic-styled St. Monica's Catholic Church in Moonee Ponds. 300 guests attended their special day and some of them came dressed in traditional Assyrian clothing. The bride walked down the aisle as I sang 'Ave Maria' by Beyonce. During the signing of the registry I sang John Legend's 'All of Me'. It is always a wedding favorite (see video footage below). Planning music for the ceremony can be quite stressful for the bride and groom but I would say Jess and Ian were cool as cucumbers. I gave them a few suggestions but in the end they knew the songs they wanted for their big day making putting the music together easier for me. Thanks so much guys! Elaborate Assyrian clothing worn by Jessica and Ian's guests. |
